Fiber
Front-loading viscous, soluble fiber for fullness and LDL-lowering.
Americans average ~16 g of fiber per day against an Adequate Intake of 25–38 g; only about 1 in 20 hits the target. This shake front-loads ~19 g before 9 a.m., favoring viscous, soluble fibers: the FDA authorizes a coronary-heart-disease risk-reduction claim for oat beta-glucan (≥3 g/day) and psyllium (≥7 g/day) on the strength of their LDL-lowering.
